Two Ways to
Shape Your Brand.
Start with the profile: a clean plate edge or a deeper dimensional body. Both structures can be made as lettering, symbols and custom logos.
Images are illustrative product visualizations. Construction, dimensions and final appearance are confirmed for each design.
01 / Flat-cutFlat-Cut Metal Letters & Logos
Cut from solid metal plate to follow your artwork, with the plate thickness forming the visible edge. A simple profile keeps attention on the silhouette and surface finish.
02 / FabricatedFabricated Metal Letters & Logos
Metal faces and side returns form a hollow dimensional body. The deeper profile creates a stronger side view and gives letters and logo shapes a sculptural presence.
How Much Dimension
Do You Want?
Choose the structure first, then refine the metal and finish. Letter size, stroke width and mounting conditions help determine the workable profile.
| Structure | How it is formed | Visual character | Confirm with your artwork |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat-cut metal | Letter or logo cut from solid plate | Clean outline with a visible plate edge | Plate thickness, fine details and fixing method |
| Fabricated metal | Metal face joined to side returns | Deeper body with more prominent side surfaces | Letter depth, stroke width, joints and fixing positions |
Plate thickness and fabricated letter depth are different specifications. Share the overall dimensions and artwork so the structure can be reviewed for your sign.
Choose the Metal.
Define the Finish.
Silver, warm gold, dark bronze or your brand color: combine a suitable base metal with the surface appearance you want.
Stainless Steel
For brushed or polished silver lettering and a range of decorative colored finishes.
Aluminum
For custom metal lettering with painted or powder-coated colors and finishes.
Brass
For a warm metal character, with the surface treatment and desired aging appearance specified.
Copper
For distinctive warm-toned lettering, with the surface appearance and protective treatment discussed.

- 01 / TextureBrushed / Satin
A directional grain and restrained metallic sheen. Specify your preferred grain direction.
- 02 / ReflectionMirror Polished
A reflective metal surface that picks up the colors and light of its surroundings.
- 03 / ColorGold / Champagne
Decorative warm metal tones, including PVD-coated stainless steel options.
- 04 / Warm metalBrass Finishes
Brushed or polished brass, with the desired tone and surface treatment confirmed.
- 05 / Dark toneBronze / Aged Effects
Bronze-colored and aged appearances matched to a reference or approved sample.
- 06 / Brand colorPaint / Powder Coat
Black, white or custom colors, with gloss level and coating system specified.
A gold or bronze appearance does not identify the base metal. Confirm both the substrate and finish; use an approved physical sample where color matching matters.

A Few Useful
Answers.
Choosing a structure, specifying a finish and preparing your metal sign enquiry.
What is the difference between flat-cut and fabricated metal letters?+
Flat-cut letters are cut from solid plate, so the plate thickness forms the edge. Fabricated letters have a metal face and joined side returns that form a hollow body. Send the artwork and overall size so thickness, depth and small details can be reviewed.
Can you make my logo or chosen font in metal?+
Yes. Share your logo, lettering or drawing and the approximate overall dimensions. AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF is useful. A reference image can also start the discussion; fine strokes, small counters and separate elements need to be checked against the structure and fixing method.
Which materials and surface finishes can I choose?+
Common options include stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper, with brushed, polished, decorative colored, aged, painted or powder-coated finishes. The finish must be compatible with the selected metal, letter structure and installation environment. Include a reference or color specification in your enquiry.
Are gold-colored letters made from solid brass?+
Gold is a color description, rather than a base-metal specification. The appearance may come from brass or a decorative finish on another metal, such as PVD-coated stainless steel. Specify whether you require actual brass or a particular gold appearance so the quotation identifies the base metal and finish.
Can metal letters be used outdoors?+
Outdoor applications can be discussed with the appropriate material, finish and fixing arrangement. Tell us about rain, sun, coastal exposure and the mounting surface. Material grade, coating, maintenance requirements and project-specific performance criteria should be confirmed for the intended site.
How are the letters installed? Can you provide a template?+
Depending on the structure and wall, options include concealed studs, spacers or a backing panel. Positioning templates and fixing information can be discussed with the order. Confirm the supplied template, hardware and installation documents before production; your local installer should check the wall and select suitable anchors.
What affects price and production time?+
Overall size, letter count, artwork complexity, metal type, plate thickness or fabricated depth, surface finish, quantity and packing affect the quotation. Include the destination and required delivery date so production and shipping can be planned around the project.
Do you support sign shops and OEM orders?+
Yes. Include your drawings, quantities and any labeling, white-label packing or documentation requirements. For repeat orders, share the approved specification or sample reference so materials, finishes and production scope can be agreed.
